Talofa Lava! Thank you for your interest to join our Taupou Samoa Aiga for this special performance project at PIFA 2023! Taupou Samoa will be performing songs and dances of SAMOA at PIFA on Sunday, September 24, 2023 located at Ski Beach in San Diego, CA. This will be a festive event to celebrate all the Pacific Islands cultures in the City of San Diego that will include cultural performances, artists, food booths, vendors, and more... Best of all, it is a Free Family Event to enjoy at the beach!!! TENTATIVE CLASS/PRACTICES: There will be two (2-3) classes/rehearsals per week. Rehearsal dates will increase in September as we get closer to the date of the event. TWO AGE CATEGORIES: - KIDS: 4YRS-12YRS - OLDER: 13+ Tuesday-Thursday (kids and older classes TBD between these days of the week) Saturday: kids 10:30am / older 11:30am (San Diego) (1 practice per week in Oceanside) *schedule subject to change Registration Fee: - 7 weeks of Siva Samoa classes - August 5th - September 24th: $150 per dancer [Includes material for performance uniform and Taupou t-shirt] (Seamstress fee not included; will be collected at later date) San Diego Location: Mt.
